Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Senior Technical Lead within our team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain solutions that meet web design requirements to help build and/or maintain websites through team and individual efforts.
• Maintain, design, build efficient, reusable, and reliable code for Java based applications using Spring framework and Azure functions.
• Review existing applications and make changes and/or address application issues.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues to ensure an error-free experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Java design patterns and implementation as needed.
• Ability to write SQL queries, DDL & DML
• Technical troubleshooting and performance tuning experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, mathematics or related field of study.
• 12 + years of IT experience
• Demonstrated experience of over 5 years on ORM Tools, preferably Spring Hibernate with strong conceptual knowledge of JPA.
• At least five (5) years of extensive working experience in J2EE Technologies such as JMS, Java Server Pages, Java Servlets, HTML, JavaScript, XML, XSD, XSLT, Xpath and a good understanding of JAXB, JAXP is required.
• A solid understanding of Core Java Concepts such as Object-Oriented Programming, Java Collections API, Exception Handling, Multi-Threading is required.
• Very good understanding of JEE Concepts, Architecture and Technologies.
• Extensive experience in writing and executing Junit test cases & debugging Java/JEE applications.
• At least one (1) year of extensive experience in Build Automation Tool, preferably Maven & related concepts such as Project Object Model, Plugins, Build Life Cycle.
• Must have a minimum of five (5+) years of coding experience in Java and Relational Database.
• Ability to write simple and complex SQL Queries.
• Experience in ALM tools like JIRA

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $116,100 to $191,500.
