Position Summary

To support and manage fund-level financial analysis, reporting databases, and treasury processes. Specifically, this position requires the ability to extract information from asset management teams and financial models to build and be responsible for fund-level financial model forecasts, reporting and ad hoc sensitivity analyses. Additional duties include fund-level capital and liquidity management, monitoring asset-level and fund-level debt, and performance analysis.

Responsibilities

Fund-Level Financial Modelling / Forecasting

  • Monitor and forecast fund-level cash flows and sources/uses of capital
  • Assess fund-level risk under different scenarios and assumptions
  • Aggregate and analyze reserves related to investments under stressed scenarios

Review and Monitor Outstanding Debt

  • Review and abstract new asset-level debt facilities
  • Conduct quality check and coordinate with teams to keep debt database and quarterly reporting current
  • Proactively monitor debt covenant compliance
  • Compute quarterly fund credit facility debt compliance reports
  • Prepare quarter debt summary schedules and support investor data requests

Create Fund Level Performance Metrics

  • Provide standard quarterly reports and analyses to investors
  • Create ad-hoc investor requests when required

Treasury and Cash Management

  • Manage fund-level cash needs and execute draws/paydowns of the fund credit facilities
  • Aggregate and analyze quarterly capital call and distribution data

Ad-hoc Analysis

  • Create presentations and analysis as requested by senior management to support investment decisions by the head of U.S. Real Estate
  • Assist in the development of annual investor conference presentations and support materials
  • Fundraising support
  • Process improvement/automation initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in a quantitative field or equivalent professional experience
  • In-depth knowledge of cash flow analysis and financial modelling
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Experience working among diverse teams
  • 1-2 years of experience in corporate finance, treasury or similar functional role
  • Experience with abstracting and understanding loan documents a plus
  • Experience analyzing and modelling cash flows; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and model the impacts of legal documents
  • Experience with database systems a plus
  • Ability to work well within teams
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to multi-task and balance multiple priorities
