This is a 2nd Shift position working Monday-Thursday 2pm-12am. The hourly rate of pay is $21.35. This position is located at our Plant on Route 30 in Gettysburg.

The Mixer Operator ensures the accuracy of mixed batches to ensure high quality of finished product.

Major Functions and Scope:

• Programs mixers for material requirements.
• Transports and maintains availability of appropriate mixed inventory.
• Oversees the entire body preparation process.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating and safety procedures and wears required personal protection equipment.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Education and Knowledge:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

• 1-year previous manufacturing/production experience.

Competencies:

• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good record keeping skills.
• Good listening skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.
• Ability to work in safe and conscientious manner.
• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
