ABOUT THE JOB:
The Jewish Board's Community Behavioral Health treatment programs provide compassionate, high quality, evidence based services to individuals and families in the communities we serve. Our staff use a culturally competent, person centered approach to help individuals and their families develop skills and resources to improve overall functioning, to instill hope, and to strengthen resiliency. Our programs work closely with community partners to address health disparities in our neighborhoods while also celebrating the strengths and resilience of our communities.
P POSITION OVERVIEW:
Children's Day Treatment Programs provide treatment and support services to children and adolescents in a school-based setting, working collaboratively with the schools to support their learning and treat their behavioral health needs. The services are provided using a trauma-informed and person-centered approach, and strive to include families in treatment and the Residential Treatment Facility staff, if applicable.
The Director has full responsibility for the on-going clinical and administrative oversight of Jewish Board's Children's Day Treatment programs. The Director provides on-going training, supervision, and guidance to the staff, and support the provision of quality care and continuous performance improvement. The Director is knowledgeable of all Regulatory and payor requirements and Agency/Divisional standards and practices.
