About Department:

The mission of the University Advising Center (UAC) is to partner with pre-major students as they take ownership of their academic experiences at SMU and develop independent informed decision-making skills.

The UAC also provides students interested in the pre-health and prelaw programs with specialized pre-professional advising, which supplements the one-on-one relationship each student develops with his or her assigned advisor.
