Account Development Representative - Cloud


Job Description:

The Account Development Representative is responsible for driving sales growth through new customer acquisition and rebuilding of underpenetrated and neglected relationships. They are responsible for discovering, progressing, and closing new business opportunities in assigned territories and driving revenue in the assigned territory. The rep is required to uncover and qualify new sales opportunities through a high level of touch points such as phone calls, email and social selling activities.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leveraging campaign leads, social media lists to identify potential new cloud partners.
  • Will engage and/or lead a team to help further the opportunity which could include IBM Sales Specialists, Microsoft Sales Specialist, Google Sales Specialists and AWS Sales Specialists.
  • Outbound calling/reach to Arrow partners to uncover new Cloud opportunities
  • Outbound calling/reach to non-Arrow partners to uncover new Cloud opportunities
  • Articulating business issues, advising customers on the latest industry trends and technology solutions, and recommending Arrow Cloud products, services, and solutions that solve the business problems.
  • Remaining current on all hyperscaler products/services/solutions (including Microsoft, IBM Cloud, AWS and Google), selling techniques, productivity tools, competitive offerings and approaches and the customer territory, organization and decision makers.
  • Complete sales certifications as directed by management.
  • Regular pipeline and forecasting with greater team
  • Utilize PowerBI and other Arrow systems
  • Dedicated to every client's success.

What We Are Looking For

  • Inside sales representative or equivalent experience
  • Program management experience - cloud related
  • Technology savvy
  • Understanding of Salesforce, PowerBI and other tools
  • Stellar communication and follow up skills
  • 4-year degree preferred.
  • Cloud knowledge preferred

Annual hiring rate/range:

$72,000 to $88,000 OTE

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
