Job Description

Truum Account Managers play a vital role in maintaining the post-sale relationship with our customers, and acts as the ambassador of Truum. They are responsible for maintaining regular proactive contact with their assigned accounts, while providing coaching and advice that aids in their account business success. You will be primarily focused on assisting in the expansion and diversification of our account product service offerings, utilizing our platform of products and services.

More specifically, you will:
  • Build up a strong understanding of Truum business both from a product perspective as well as from a market perspective.
  • Establish and maintain positive rapport with an assigned group of existing customers, gathering knowledge about customers' objectives, struggles and growth projections to increase product breadth.
  • Manage day to day business needs of all account relationships within an assigned portfolio, through verbal and written communication as well as onsite client visits as is necessary.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all Truum products and services including changes within eCommerce industry; using that knowledge to support, communicate, and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Work closely with the various departments within Truum to ensure the highest level of support for each client.
  • Consult with clients regarding business-critical needs, making recommendations to client or to internal teams based on knowledge, previous experience, and judgment.
  • Manage contractual obligations. Review invoices for accuracy and assist with obtaining payment for outstanding invoice payments.
  • Present new products, services, and/or partnerships as released.
  • Assist with drafting, reviewing, and editing copy including documentation, periodical content, press releases, and other client-facing communication.
  • Establish a profile within the industry by attending professional conferences or industry related networking events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, marketing or other related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the retail industry with business development, client relationship management, and direct sales / service for top-tier corporations.
  • Understanding of eCommerce product information flow and PIM knowledge preferred.
  • Previous experience with product information, and B2B platforms is a real plus.
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of Spanish is beneficial.
  • You're NOT looking for a standard corporate vibe or environment.
