As an EHB Account Manager, you'll manage, maintain and expand client accounts to develop, enhance and solidify relationships. You'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and professional insurance services with the coordination of Producers, Service Team members and other specialized teams within MMA.

We will count on you to:

  • Maintain consistent and continuous communication with assigned clients to provide needed information, creative solutions, and resolution of issues for clients
  • Manage clients' day to day service needs by working with team members to ensure requests are met
  • Understand carriers' underwriting processes and procedures
  • Request renewal information, directs Account Assistant to market account, and structures clients' proposals
  • Prepare comparisons for recommended coverage, facilitates opportunities for account rounding and negotiates renewal terms
  • Invoice fee-based accounts
  • Pursue opportunities to round out existing client programs with additional and/or increased lines of coverage
  • Work directly with Producers Carrier Representative, Clients, Service Team, and other departments to maintain current information in the agency management system
  • Initiate periodic visits to clients to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and to provide additional coverage options and/or account rounding opportunities (per Department guidelines)
  • Schedule and conducts Employee Meetings to present coverage(s)
  • When appropriate, request disruption report
  • Ensure accuracy, proper handling, and appropriate distribution of policies (SBC, etc.), and other requests from clients
  • Assist in locating and implementing appropriate wellness program vendors
  • Participate and assists with employee's claims through processing or forwarding to Claims Manager
  • Participate in continuing education to maintain Health and Life license
  • Stay current on regulations, Health Care Reform, and general insurance knowledge. Assists in communicating this information to clients.

What you need to have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working in benefits industry
  • Active Life& Health License required
  • Proficiency in computer in Microsoft programs
  • Demonstrate a commitment to Agency values including Integrity, Collaboration, Passion, Innovation and Accountability
