Cedar Fair is seeking an Accounting Information Systems Analyst at the Sandusky, OH office. The Accounting Information Systems (AIS) Analyst is a member of the Accounting Information Systems team and has broad responsibility for the day-to-day functional & technical administration of multiple proprietary & third-party software applications.

 

This position reports to the Functional Manager of Accounting Information Systems with dotted line responsibilities to both the Technical and Financial Systems AIS Managers in order to collectively maintain, administer and enhance financial systems, provide user support, uphold data governance policies and processes and assist with various controls compliance.

 

The entire AIS team falls under the broader scope of the Accounting Shared Services team.


How You'll Make A Difference:

 

  • Handle day-to-day administration of multiple third-party applications (including but not limited to Oracle JDE, FCCS, PBCS & ARCS and/or Hyland Brainware & On Base software) focusing on master data setup and maintenance, organizational hierarchies and account dimensions.
  • Help maintain system security for users and groups that access applications.
  • Assist users as first line of support with issues and general application questions.
  • Test and update functional & technical specifications for new or modified applications and reports.
  • Prepare and deliver training on software and processes to appropriate personnel throughout the company.
  • Maintain AIS portion of Cedar Fair Information Systems service desk tickets.
  • Update & maintain documentation for various components of AIS including but not limited to test scripts & user training plans.
  • Actively engage financial & non-financial areas to gather requirements as it relates to financial systems.
  • Enter and monitor functional-based support incidents between users and external partners (Consultants & Managed Services teams).
  • Maintain and promote a strong culture of technical competence, personal accountability, and ethical behavior in all aspects of work consistent with the company Cornerstones.
  • Make recommendations for automating processes and increasing efficiency.
  • Adhere to appropriate internal controls and procedures as they relate to accounting information systems functions.
  • Coordinate efforts with other AIS Analysts to attain team goals and initiatives.
  • Encourage effective cross-functional teamwork outside of direct span of control.
  • Other duties as assigned.

We're Looking For:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum three years of experience supporting/developing application software.
  • Demonstrated aptitude with software applications and the interface of data between non-related applications. (Previous experience with Oracle ERP & EPM products highly desirable).
  • Strong Excel skills required. Knowledge of Essbase/Smartview a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities involving internal customer requests and demands.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test and background check, which may include, but is not limited to credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, pursuant to Company policy.
