PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide assistance to Project Controls in the implementation and maintenance of field job cost processes and overall operational needs and requirements.
  • Assist in facilitating coordination between Business Operations and Project Controls..
  • Provide assistance and support to managers in the, implementation and maintenance of field job cost processes.
  • Assist in monitoring project staff; including Superintendents, Engineers and Field Supervision on job cost & forecasting tools and techniques.
  • Help review budget & contract change orders, as required prior to entry into cost system to ensure accuracy.
  • Help Audit and review monthly and or quarterly large projects forecast, as required.
  • Help prepare and presents monthly financial reports concerning cost, schedule and forecasts.
  • Performs clerical duties such as maintaining Project Cost Control files.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school degree and a minimum of 2 years Accounting experience or Bachelors' degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration and 0-1 year experience
  • Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and familiarity with Accounting systems
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in high pressure environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow through on commitments and projects
