The salary range for this position is $5,546.67 - $5,842.20 per month depending upon qualifications and is non-negotiable. First review of candidates will take place on July 15th.

Under the general direction of the Registrar and Executive Director of Admissions and Enrollment, the Admissions Advisor will act as the primary point of contact for prospective students and is responsible for recruiting and guiding prospective students through the admissions and enrollment process by providing information on program requirements, admission procedures for SDSU Global Campus online degree programs and assisting applicants in making informed decisions about their academic and career goals. The Admissions Advisor will work with the Admissions Supervisor in the development and implementation of the overall scope of lead management and support services offered to prospective students through Global Campus across a variety of areas, including, but not limited to; on- and off-campus and online information sessions and events; prospective student support; pre-evaluation of applicants; coordination of application processes and follow-up with students. The Admissions Advisor will work in collaboration with members of SDSU Global Campus, academic departments, faculty, and other university staff as a liaison with students to enhance the overall student experience.
Work assignments will be of a complex level, requiring detailed administrative procedures and practices with notable accountability for end results.
The person holding this position is considered a `mandated reporter' under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and is required to comply with the requirements set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083 as a condition of employment.
