AEM Authoring Specialist
Location: 100% Remote (US), all time zones accepted
Role Overview: The AEM Authoring Specialist plays a crucial role in designing and constructing web pages using pre-defined templates and components within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). This position requires a strong background in web design, proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and experience with AEM. The ideal candidate will collaborate with project leadership, demonstrate expertise in AEM authoring, and contribute to the Enterprise Accessibility Initiative project.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build components, templates, dialogs, and workflows using the AEM architecture (Sling, CRX, OSGI, JCR).
- Translate experience from CQ5 implementations into meaningful client insights.
- Utilize front-end skills (CSS, JavaScript, HTML) to enhance web pages.
- Collaborate with project leadership to execute AEM implementations and provide technical guidance.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert in AEM authoring.
- Participate in software design, development, and implementation using standard WCM and eCommerce platforms (e.g., Adobe AEM, SDL Tridion, Sitecore).
- Mentor and lead other developers on the team.
- Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience with AEM.
- Familiarity with Java (within the context of CQ5) and overall best practices.
- Knowledge of Jira and agile methodologies is a significant bonus.
- Design flexibility to collaborate with design teams.
