Position: PM/Scrum Master
Company: Designs and manufactures industrial gas turbines for onshore and offshore electrical power generation
Term: 12-month contract with intention to be extended long term
Location: 100% remote in US. PST time zone. If located in San Diego, they would prefer this person to be on site 1-2 days per week.
Project and Program:
Enterprise Apps team:
They do massive deployments to thousands of users, they have custom legacy apps that they are facilitating around the world. They are scaling up a major program - which is a 2 year project - just now kicking off. They are retiring their old legacy ERP systems and there are 9 sub projects in this program + 20-30 other projects. This individual will likely be supporting 2 to 3 teams at any given time. The full program is 50+ people all interacting with one another and there's also the much larger stakeholder base too, so this individual can expect to interface with around 30+ different people on an ongoing basis. They will be supporting the ERP implementation that is currently ongoing in the Enterprise Apps group.
Other Projects This Person May Support: Coupa deployment extending to Latin America and their main B2B project which entails doing automating digital invoicing to all customers. So basically a blend across 3 main project efforts -- Coupa deployment, B2B digital invoicing, and of course ERP.
Team size: is 8-9 team members but all interact with a much larger group + helping manage multiple different teams
Required:
- 3+ years experience as an IT Project Manager
- This candidate will be running IT-related projects, should be familiar with SDLC, should be familiar with how systems interact in general
- Candidate will be supporting 2-3 projects at any given time that are mid-large in size
- Agile/Waterfall Hybrid environment - Agile is fully implemented but some projects have to be more waterfall, they need to be flexible and comfortable with that
- MUST have used PM tools like Jira - ADO (Azure DevOps) would be ideal as that's what they use
Soft Skills:
- Type A personality, very professional and on point
- Assertive and confident personality to lead meetings and keep people on track
- Organized/Efficient
Preferred Exp:
- ERP Implementation experience
