SUMMARY
Working with general supervision, the Allocation Analyst is responsible for supporting and maintaining appropriate store stock levels to drive profitable and sustainable sales. The analyst will allocate and replenish product to and from the DCs, satellite DCs and stores. This role interacts frequently and strategically with merchandising, store operations, marketing and warehouse groups so product arrives to stores in a timely and efficient manner. The analyst assists with the development of plans/strategies that affect allocation, replenishment and inventory performance for stores. The analyst will interact with his or her supervisor as needed. While routine activities may be completed without a supervisor's advanced approval, other activities will require supervisor or business partner consultation.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
Coordinate and execute allocations for current catalog titles and new release titles for all US stores; based on sales, product availability, timing of inbound product, and demand.
Operate all allocation tools effectively while applying strategic methodology to ensure accurate distributions and required splits are accurate and timely.
Work with Logistics and Merchandising on distribution and replenishment strategies of new titles to maximize sales and maintain store stock levels using lean inventory strategies while managing freight costs.
Work with various departments (i.e. Logistics, Merchandising, e-com, Distribution, Inventory Control. etc.) on special projects that include promo items, mail, Game Informer magazine, and any other item that may require special handling.
Communicate with DCs and 3PL locations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of allocation files.
Create and maintain various reports and analysis to assist with the identification of opportunities to maximize store sales while applying lean inventory techniques.
Analyze data and reports to ensure store inventory supports store needs and demands

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)
Accredited Bachelor's degree with a related field of study required
3-5 years of related experience required; retail experience highly preferred
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES
Working understanding of all retail development functions and how they work together
Experience with allocation/replenishment processes, tools and systems
Proficient knowledge of Windows-based business computers; strong Excel skills required
Ability to organize, prioritize, and control job responsibilities
Ability to communicate effectively with others using written and spoken English including the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback to team members
Proficient relationship building skills, including the capacity to predict and manage behavior, build and leverage cross-functional partnerships within and outside of the organization, and leverage influential leadership
Expert ability to work under demanding time constraints and production goals
Expert allocation skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize and control job responsibilities in order to meet deadlines in an environment with overlapping and potentially conflicting priorities
