Antea USA, Inc. (Antea®Group) is looking for an ambitious, experienced Anaerobic Wastewater Treatment System Manager in American Canyon, CA.

Antea Group has an immediate opportunity to hire you as an employee and as a first assignment locate you at the client's facility to work with their team to provide management over their wastewater treatment operations. Anaerobic wastewater system experience is a must.

Your role: In this first shift Monday - Friday position, you will manage a team that operates and maintains a 24/7 anaerobic and aerobic industrial wastewater treatment plant in accordance with relevant regulations. The Wastewater Treatment System Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of required wastewater and environmental compliance processes. These programs and processes will be designed to:

• comply with good environmental practices;

• partner with site management to achieve collective goals;

• drive continuous improvement in our wastewater treatment plant; and

• maintain compliance with applicable regulations.

This first assignment will position you to return to Antea Group with exceptional client experience and prepared to take on assignments with another client assignment.

Essential Duties:

• Oversee operations of the facility Wastewater treatment system, to maintain compliance with external and internal environmental requirements and expectations.

• Maintain compliance with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 expectations.

• Conduct or coordinate training programs associated with wastewater treatment operations as required by internal or external requirements.

• Maintain and update related documents and filing system.

• Partner with the SES Manager on compliance with related environmental programs.

• Prepare and submit related reports as required by internal or external requirements.

• Coordinate activities involving contractors, chemical suppliers, service providers, visitors, inspectors, etc. regarding wastewater treatment operations.

• Participate in facilities management activities involving meetings, business plans, budgeting, reporting, auditing, etc.

• Establish and maintain effective communications and relationships with employees, division and corporate representatives, government officials, and the public.

• Prepare clear, concise reports and budget recommendations.

• Define problems, collect and analyze appropriate data, draw valid conclusions, and recommend corrective actions toward reducing facility Significant Environmental and related Occupational Safety Impacts.

• Interpret local, state, and federal regulations and develop and implement compliance programs.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• 5-10 years of experience in Environmental Management and Anaerobic Wastewater Treatment system operation.

• Strong functional knowledge of good practices and local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to environmental control.

• Willingness to participate in any necessary training to gain additional knowledge where necessary and to keep up-to-date in these areas.

• Management, leadership, and communication skills to motivate employees at all levels to adopt and become involved with necessary safety, health, environmental, and security programs.

• Ability to work with individuals and teams to manage and direct significant projects.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment - Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities, which may include the following:

  • Sedentary to light work (typical office or administrative work)
  • Frequently required to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of low (under 25lbs) to moderate (25-49lbs) weight objects
  • Repetitive motions: substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers (including reaching)
  • Subject to inside environmental conditions (protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature change)
  • Operation of a motor vehicle
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000-$105,000. Compensation will vary depending on the applicant's job-related knowledge and skills, education, and work experience.
