The Analyst, Application Development & Support (ERP) is a key member of the Information Technology team whose primary mission is to partner with key business and IT team members for the delivery of business system design and development used to enable and support critical business functions and processes across the enterprise. This position requires expertise in areas of business operations, business processes, application technologies, critical business data, and key operational reporting and analytics across the key business functions such as; (e.g. Sales, Service Management Sourcing, Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Distribution, Finance, and HR). Responsibilities include; solution development, service support, application security and IT compliance. Typical activities may include; assessing, designing, implementing and managing software programs, testing and evaluating new programs, modification of existing programs, writing/configuring and implementing efficient code, determining operational practicality, developing quality assurance procedures, deploying software tools, maintaining and upgrading existing systems, training end-users, working closely with other developers and business analysts. Support production systems including analyzing and resolving production problems and end user service requests as appropriate. Provide a high-level of customer service across the organization with a primary focus on systems availability, performance, reliability, security, and established service level metrics.



As a critical member of the Business & Digital Transformation team, this role must work with business team members to understand business direction and translate to information technology needs; work with business stakeholders to define project scope and requirements; participate in defining, prioritizing, organizing initiatives; and be accountable for solution delivery. Provide technical and solution architecture leadership during end-to-end life-cycle solution development to ensure quality of delivery and adherence to best practices. Support, maintain, and deliver solutions and services within a large, complex applications ecosystem. Participate in project prioritization and planning, bringing a current knowledge and future vision of technology as it relates to the organization's competitive position. Collaborates with the IT leadership team to define the long-term organization-wide application capabilities needed and implements the overall strategy and roadmap to ensure optimal technology operations and return on investment.



The Analyst, Application Development & Support (ERP) reports directly to the Technical Manager, Business Process Transformation and must be highly flexible, results-oriented with the ability to provide insight and support on complex business and technical issues. As a technical specialist, this role is responsible to proactively participate in multiple technology initiatives.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field.



Experience:


* Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, critical thinking, strategic planning and execution skills.
* Structuring, manipulating, and analyzing information/data.

Skills:


* Ability to build consensus, making decisions based on many variables, and gain support for major initiatives.
* Strong sense of self, ethics and effort, as well as the willingness to go the extra mile to achieve important goals.
* Extensive hands-on experience in system integration of complex application systems. (e.g. custom solutions, package solutions, Cloud, SaaS, and PaaS)
* Experience with Microsoft Office suite primarily Excel
* Experience with Oracle Cloud is a plus
* Experience in data governance and maintenance is a plus
* Flexible schedule; ability to work weekends
* Ability to adapt and work with others, strong people skills, team player.
