The Analyst is responsible for financial analysis and market research to support a team of originators and senior Analysts. The Analyst will work closely with the team on sourcing, structuring, and closing of transactions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Reviewing/preparing cash flow models using Excel and calculating investment returns
  • Reviewing/preparing acquisition/development cost budgets
  • Reviewing/preparing rent rolls, historical operating statements and other schedules supporting cash flow models and cost budget
  • Conduct detailed economic and demographic research to determine feasibility of transactions
  • Assist in the review and analysis of financing proposals and commitments
  • Write, prepare and assemble Investment Memoranda
  • Analyze new proposed debt requirements and loan scenarios for our clients
  • Engage and manage vendor assignments in loan due diligence
  • Coordinating and assisting in the closing process
  • Manage transactions across several stages from initial identification through final loan closing
  • Develop strong relationships with all internal and external clients
  • Maintain client data in Salesforce and generate reports as required
  • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (prefer finance and/or real estate concentration)
  • 1+ years of commercial real estate experience preferred
  • Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac multifamily production or underwriting experience a plus


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent financial modeling skills including thorough knowledge of Excel required
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook and Word, and ability to learn Salesforce and other company software as needed
  • Proven written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to accurately and productively handle multiple tasks during time sensitive situations
  • Ability and willingness to work extended hours to meet deadlines when appropriate
  • Ability to problem -solve and exercise independent judgement while displaying a high degree of initiative and desire to continuously learn and advance
  • Ability to travel on a limited basis to other company offices for training or support
