Exciting and energetic company in need of an individual with skills to support the company’s demanding data needs. The Analytics Report Developer will need to have strong experience in supporting the company’s business intelligence, dashboarding, and reporting. Projects will vary greatly, ranging from new technology initiatives to legacy maintenance. Our business is very data-hungry with a heavy emphasis placed on accurate, timely data retrieval and needs solid visualizations that allow the business to spend less time examining reports and more time finding solutions to problems. This individual must be a task-oriented self-starter, with a strong aptitude for learning new concepts and the ability to jump into projects quickly. Will have to juggle many projects simultaneously and be able to swiftly adapt to priority changes at a moment’s notice.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and skills:

• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• At least 2 years’ experience with Power BI dashboard tools, with the ability to conceptualize and create visualizations for business users that are relevant, meaningful, and powerful.
• At least 3 years’ experience with SQL Server 2014, 2016, 2017, or 2019.
• Solid T-SQL query development skills for building queries, data mining, and analytics.
• Experience with SQL Server business intelligence products, including Reporting Services (SSRS), Analysis Services (SSAS), and Integration Services (SSIS).
• A strong desire to add to current knowledge in new and emerging reporting and analytics technologies.
• Proven track record of working to gather requirements from business stakeholders and turn those into dashboards and detailed reports.

The candidate will be expected to:

• Build strong relationships with key business stakeholders and technology partners.
• Effectively and clearly communicate with other employees in all departments and levels of management.
• Create/modify advanced dashboards in Power BI.
• Lead the creation of our Power BI platform for reporting and analytics. Build up a Business Intelligence solution to provide our user base with a self-service data mining portal.
• Create and modify reports in SSRS.
• Aggressively pursue subject-matter-expert status in Arhaus business data analytics and reporting challenges, and lead the initiative to move the company to the next level in analytics reporting.
• Quickly respond to emergencies and data analysis requests by management.
• Work on project teams to solve business problems with technological solutions.
• Demonstrate perpetual learning and improvement.
