AMITA Health Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital Hoffman Estates provides evidence-based behavioral health care for patients/ families when they require more intensive treatments.

Our facility is one of the largest behavioral health hospitals in the country and offers specialized services for mental health and substance abuse problems.

Schedule: Full time, Days, M-F, 8:30AM - 5:00 PM

Some flexibility to work evenings upon request

What You Will Do:

Candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team assessing patients for program, providing group therapy and individual case management and family sessions.

Provide behavioral health counseling services.

  • Conduct patient assessments and establish therapy treatment goals.
  • Administer individual and group therapy.
  • Maintain thorough and confidential records of observations.
  • Evaluate progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
  • Provide patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community.
  • Work directly with the patient, family, physician and community providers to ensure active and collaborate care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge.
What You Will Need:

Education:

  • Masters in Counseling, Social Work or Psychology required. LCSW, LCPC preferred
  • Specialized ERP training for treatment of OCD and Anxiety Disorders
  • Previous ERP training and/or experience with Anxiety Disorders preferred
  • Clinical supervision available
