Essential Functions • Match, review and verify invoices and check requests for posting • Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices
• Set invoices up for payment
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
• Maintain vendor files
• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
• Assist with month end closing
• Provide supporting documentation for audits
• Maintain confidentiality of organizational information

Education & Experience Requirements High School Diploma or educational equivalent; Typically requires 3-5 years of experience and/or mastery of increasingly complex tasks as assigned. Thorough knowledge of accounting and procurement practices. General knowledge of company pay policies & procedures. Detail oriented. Good communication skills. Position Summary Under limited supervision, handles complex tasks within accounts payable and/or accounts receivables. May provide functional advice and training to lower level employees. Monitors status of third-party orders requiring payments and assists lower level specialists. Handles special projects, as assigned.
