Summary

Kitsap Credit Union is hiring for a full-time salaried remote Application Administrator 1 Harborside location in beautiful Kitsap County. This position will serve as liaison between Information Technology, Project Management, internal departments, and vendors. The Application Administrator will focus on customer requirements; working closely with business units to analyze business needs and review and/or produce specifications for new or existing applications that support the organization's strategic initiatives and business processes.

Typical Job Duties

    • Will identify, assess, and document business requirements, providing input to priorities and advising the business on solution options. Will successfully guide cross-functional teams in requirements elicitation.
    • Possess subject matter expertise on the current methods of operation in each department and how enhancements and new applications will affect and change operations within the various departments and the organization.
    • Plan, organize, train, and schedule application changes and upgrades, delivering accurate, documented test results.
    • Manages requests for troubleshooting and resolving issues with assigned software platforms from internal users in a timely manner through a centralized ticketing system.
    • Works with Training to ensure all new system features and functionality are properly trained and documented
    • Works collaboratively with management team to design process, workflows, and functional components to improve efficiencies and recommend improved utilizations of assigned applications.
    • Fills the gap between Information Technology, Business Units, and the Product Ownership.
    • Maintains a working relationship with Product Owners to ensure systems under management are meeting organizational strategic objectives.
    • Works closely with business units to ensure systems are configured, understood, and can support process and experience improvements.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors' degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or High School Diploma/GED with three years working in technology and financial services.
  • Three years of system management or administration
  • ITIL v4 certification required or obtained within six months.
