What You Will Contribute:


The Assembler - Level 2 is responsible for assembling parts according to specified Work Instructions and/or Drawings and exhibits the ability to effectively complete critical component assemblies. This position may be required to rotate throughout the facility in a variety of assembly tasks. Below are the additional duties and responsibilities:

  • Participate and Contribute to Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost continuous improvement efforts.
  • Use Production system to record day-to-day customer order activity, view work instructions and report completed work.
  • Use basic printing programs to complete customer orders when required for a specific job and make adjustments when needed on his/her own.
  • Take initiative to ensure priority items are completed and when needed seek out additional information from lead or Supervisor.
  • May be responsible for basic training of others in department.
  • Use basic Hand, battery, electric and pneumatic powered tools to complete assemblies.
  • Navigate through basic LX screens to identify Inventory requirements and status as needed and utilize system as required to make adjustments.
  • Perform basic 5S and Lean concepts to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient workplace
  • Responsible for understanding a wider variety of soldering, gluing and centering to specific tolerances which includes multiple areas/products.
  • Responsible for gas calibrations to test sensors.
  • Able to use function generators and multimeter test equipment.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Associates Degree or vocational training desired
  • 3 plus years of assembly experience
  • Basic computer skills including previous experience with an ERP system and Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Enthusiasm and ability to work well in busy environment
  • Good attendance required
