We are currently seeking a Assistant Account Manager - Surety in our Anchorage location.

We will count on you to:

• Process new bid bonds, final bonds and miscellaneous bonds as needed.
• Invoice bonds, endorsements, renewals, and new business accurately.
• Updating computer database as needed.
• Provide technical support to the bond department, staff, producers, and manager as needed.
• Ensures confidentiality of information acquired.
• Providing administrative support including photocopying, faxing, scanning for email and filing.
• Consistently strives to make a positive contribution to customer satisfaction.
• Develop strong relationships with professional counterparts at client organizations
• Attends and participates in industry events and conferences to build up a strong professional network, maintain proximity to the relevant market and represent the Company.

Non-Essential:

• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, some insurance courses preferred.
• PC operation to an intermediate level, including word processing and data entry.
• Standard software programs utilized, i.e., Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills in prioritizing work, multi-tasking and consistently meeting deadlines.
• Ability to work proficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Results oriented with a strong client service orientation and proactive in solving client needs with a sense of urgency in all client matters.
• AK BI License
• Effective team player.
