The Division of Student Success is excited to be hiring for multiple assistant director roles within the Offices of Career Connections Center (CCC), Identity, Student Engagement, and Access (ISEA), Residential Life and Housing (RLH), Academic Support, and Student Leadership and Programming (SLP). These roles will work in partnership to uplift the mission of the division, providing holistic, intentional, and transformative experiences and support to students at Clark University.

As a vital member of the Career Connections Center, the Assistant Director of Internships & Experiential Learning is responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive student career development and career readiness programming to support students' academic, professional, and personal growth. The Assistant Director will oversee the development, implementation, daily operation, and evaluation of a robust academic internship program. The Assistant Director serves as a resource for credited and non-credit internships and micro-internships and provides customized advising and coaching to students regarding career research, career design, and job/internship searching.
Primary responsibilities for this position include: Project manage all aspects of the undergraduate Academic Internship Program (AIP), including student advising, campus communication, application tracking, and evaluation, and data collection and reporting. In addition, the position assists with Summer Funding for Internships and Research. Serve as Career Connections Center career adviser. Engage in holistic career advising, drawing from academic advising, career counseling, and student development theories; Clark University academic requirements; Clark University resources and national best practices. Design, lead and support office career events.
