The Assistant Director of Admissions & Recruitment is responsible for providing dynamic leadership for recruitment and admissions. The Assistant Director will actively create positive experiences to support prospective students on the path to enrollment. This includes the oversight of the One-Stop and Processing Units. The Assistant Director reports to the Chief Enrollment Services Officer/Registrar.
Essential Functions:
Develop, implement, assess and continuously improve strategies, processes and procedures for recruitment and admission that increases student success and aligns with the college's enrollment outcomes.Coordinate recruitment activities to meet enrollment goals.Timely evaluation and execution of admission decisions on applicant files including residency status.Coordinate all aspects of the dual enrollment program.Coordinate, supervise, provide for professional development, and evaluate college recruiters, customer service clerk and processing clerks.Ensure accuracy of the Admission's webpages on the Columbia State website.Maintain current and professional recruitment publications. Develop all recruitment publications in conjunction with the Chief Enrollment Services Officer and Communications Office.Collaborate with all campus locations to ensure standardization of recruitment processes for a college of campuses that acts as one.Analyze statistical reports and implement strategies that will enhance recruitment strategies, yield management, and operational efficiency.In concert with campus directors coordinate, facilitate and continually improve campus tours for students at all campuses.Responsible for ensuring continuous high-quality customer service to all constituents.Monitor point in time matrix to ensure enrollment goals will be met. Develop corrective action plans as needed.Analyze admissions data in concert with the Assistant Director Admissions Systems for trends to develop recruitment plans by enrollment groups (traditional age students, adult students, veteran students, etc.) Work in concert with college counselors, recruiters, campus directors, and appropriate Deans for development and implementation of the plan.In collaboration with Assistant Director Admissions Systems ensure optimal use of the CRM & Chatbot, maintain data integrity standards and support a continuous process improvement model for managing applications and all associated documents.Coordinate and assure verification and compliance for admissions of international students. Represent the college in conversations for immigration procedures and VISA compliance. Provide leadership and counseling for international student admission and readmission. Assure timely completion and compliance with all required federal and state submittals.Travel to campus locations, off site events and programs for coordination of admissions procedures and functions.

Education, Training and Experience Required:
Master's Degree requiredThree years of experience in admissions or related student services field required

Experience as a recruiter Experience in a community college Experience with Banner Experience with SLATE
