Assistant Director of Enterprise Risk Management

Primary Job Purpose
Leads and manages the execution, continuous improvement, and administration of Cambia Health
Solutions Enterprise Risk Management program.
Minimum Requirements
Demonstrated ability in strategic thinking, decision-making, and creative thinking applied under a variety of circumstances.
Ability to partner with business leaders and assurance functions to assess organizational strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
Demonstrated expertise in risk management and in-depth knowledge of the health insurance industry
Ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement courses of action with minimal supervision.
Ability to successfully lead and coordinate activities of subordinates and coworkers
Ability to influence executives and cross-functional teams in matrixed organization.
Ability to work on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
Normally to be proficient in the competencies listed above:
The Assistant Director , Enterprise Risk Management, would have a Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, public policy or healthcare administration and 10+ years' experience with enterprise risk management, internal audit, compliance or other assurance functions and experience developing and leading large-scale projects and initiatives or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Licenses, Certifications, Registration, Etc.
One or more of the following professional certifications or licenses is preferred:
RIMS Certified Risk Management Professional (RIMS-CRMP)
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
General Functions and Outcomes
Accountable for the performance and results of the Enterprise Risk Management function.
Ensures that goals and objectives of the Risk Management function are met on time and within budget.
In consultation with Senior Leadership, develops and updates risk management policies and procedures.
Works with executives, leaders and other assurance functions to conduct an annual assessment of top enterprise risks; coordinate the analysis, summarization and reporting of results to senior management, internal stakeholders and the Board of Directors; work with executive risk owners and subject matter experts to incorporate the results into risk mitigation plans.
Work with executive risk owners and subject matter experts to perform periodic updates to risk mitigation plans and prepare the reporting of results to senior management, internal stakeholders and the Board of Directors.
Oversee ongoing monitoring of emerging risks across the enterprise.
Provide guidance, recommendation and support to leaders, managers and subject matter experts regarding the management of risks.
Lead internal committees charged with oversight of enterprise risk management and represent assurance functions on internal committees and work efforts as needed.
Lead the continuous improvement of the Company's enterprise risk management programs.

The expected hiring range for a AD Enterprise Risk Management is $129,625.00 - $175,375.00 depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; performance history; and work location. The bonus target for this position is 15%. The current full salary range for this role is $122,000.00 to $198,500.00.
