Our client in is looking for an Assistant IT Director to join their team. This is a full-time position that requires on site work.

This is an opportunity to work hands while managing a team of up to 7. Will help support and complete implementation phases of cloud-based initiative.

Position Description:

• Supporting 550 users
• Looking to move to a COE environment based on level of issue (tiered)
• Currently in implementation phases of cloud based and will be moving VPN to Horizon (completed) and looking into Okta for all systems
• Working with Jira and looking to potentially switch to ServiceNow
• Windows shop
• Oversee the daily operations of the Infrastructure/Network Operations and Support teams
• Define architecture standards and direction
• Align cloud architecture and standards with existing enterprise architecture
• Working on Information Security projects
• patching, incident response and risk management, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
• Hands on role and mentoring, leading team of up to 7

Required Skills:

• 10+ years' experience in IT with focus in IT Infrastructure and service desk
• Experience building frontline IT image utilize ITSM and ITIL concept
• Experience with Windows technologies and software
• Experience with Jira (ticket system), Azure and Cloud environments
• Passion for learning, staying current with IT and trainings
• Management experience- leading a team
• Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field and/or combination of technical school education, training, certifications and experience
