Assistant General CAM Manager- Regal Palms

Regal Palms Resort, managed by Guest Services is now hiring for an Assistant General CAM Manager, Condiminium. Our ideal candidate will have experience building strong relationships as well as have experience in hospitality sales: hotel, food and beverage, condos, etc. CAM License is required for this position.

This is a Vacation rental property.

This position pays a competitive base salary from $75,000- $85,000! Base salary will be set commensurate with experience.

JOB SUMMARY

The Assistant General CAM Manager is responsible for assistingwith all aspects of operations and facilities management of the condominiumproperty, including all forms of communications, human resources/personnelmanagement, financial management, facilities/maintenance management and projectmanagement and client initiatives. The Assistant General CAM Manager incultivating a team environment that provides exceptional customer service whileensuring all staff members perform at a consistently high level. TheAssistant General Manager also works towards motivating employees,instilling accountability, and achieving results to drive success in theposition.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Plan and assist with developing daily operations.
  • Schedule, supervise, and participate in the operational duties specific to the unit.
  • Assist in Recruiting, supervising, training, scheduling, disciplining, review, and direct the unit's management and staff.
  • Attend all board and committee meetings, offering management reports and advice on the physical plant and administration of the community. Keep records and minutes of board and committee meetings.
  • Maintain accounting records, daily reporting requirement, and cash control. Assist in managing P&L statement.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve customer complaints.
  • Maintain and ensure safe facility environment including standards for maintenance and upkeep of unit\'s equipment, food production and handling, cooking, housekeeping, sanitation, dress, cash control, and employee hygiene. Notify Unit Manager of all unusual events, circumstances, or other safety or quality control issues.
  • Always represent the company in a professional and positive manner. Maintain and enhance the company's image when interacting with clients, guests, associates, and vendors.
SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
  • High School Diploma/GED required. Bachelor's or Business Degree preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in related management required (facilities management such as hotel, resort, rental, or condo).
  • Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people.
  • Ability to effectively organize and coordinate multiple priorities; be a team leader; ability to problem-solve.
  • Proven ability in human resources/personnel management.
  • High rise property management preferred.
  • Strong customer service abilities; actively looks for ways to assist customers and coworkers.
  • Strong computer skills required, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and web search engines. Knowledge of Quickbooks accounting software preferred.
  • Ability to present typical financial reports such as P&L, Variance to Budget, Balance Sheet, AR, AP, Bank statement reconciliation.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the unit.
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day and to climb steps regularly.
  • Withstanding temperature extremes due to Florida weather conditions.
  • Reading and writing work-related documents in English, reviewing financial reports and understanding basic accounting.
  • Speech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of customers and co-workers and the ability to speak clearly so that you can be understood by customers and co-workers in English.
  • Constantly communicates and receives verbal communication with other employees in fast-paced environment.
  • Physical presence at the community is essential to perform job duties.

EQUIPMENT USED
  • Standard commercial cooking machinery and utensils (pots and pans, fryers, stove, among others), cash registers/POS system, and typical office equipment (computer, fax, telephone, copier, scanner, among others).
