$2,000 hiring bonus

General Purpose:

This position is responsible for operation and assistance of equipment in mix room, packing areas, bulk receiving area and staging areas.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in mixing raw materials as required using formula provided for each product
• Follow batching instructions and record any other required testing
• Maintain and initial processor time/temperature recording charts for each batch of product
• Replace gaskets in product lines and seals in pumps as necessary
• Operate CIP processing equipment according to Quality System procedures
• Keep tanks, lines and mix room area in a clean and sanitary condition
• Follow safety rules and wear proper safety gear provided
• Notify supervisor if product is out of spec
• Assist dryer operator when required
• Unload bulk liquids when required
• Assist in packing areas when required
• Stage/prepare raw materials, enzymes & chemical ingredients
• Run forklift for staged batches and finished product out of packing areas
• During shutdown periods, general cleaning, painting and other plant maintenance projects may be performed
• Follow all safety rules and use appropriate PPE and safety gear provided

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Operate forklift (training provided)
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and handle up to 100 lbs
• Flexible in duties for production requirements
• Ability to follow written instructions
• Attention to detail
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
