West Virginia University Institute of Technology (WVU Tech), part of the WVU system of campuses located in Beckley, WV, is currently inviting applications and nominations for the following employment opportunity:
The Department of Computer Science and Information Systems within the Leonard C. Nelson College of Engineering and Sciences, seeks to hire a tenure track Assistant Professor or Associate Professor in Computer Science. The department offers two-degree programs: BS degree in Computer Science (CS) and BS degree in Information Systems (IS). Beginning from fall 2021 the department added an area of emphasis in Cybersecurity to the CS program. The position is 9-month, non-tenure track, full-time, and benefits-eligible.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Computer Science for baccalaureate programs and service classes for other majors. The successful candidate will also be expected to pursue scholarly activities and perform other service associated with a faculty position.

Qualifications
A PhD in Computer Science is required. Ability to teach Information Systems courses is preferred. ABD candidates will be considered. Commitment to teaching excellence, responsiveness to student needs, and good communication skills are essential.
