The University of Rhode Island invites applications for a full-time academic year tenure-track appointment for an Assistant Professor in Music Therapy beginning in the fall of 2023.

The University of Rhode Island is located in the historic village of Kingston, 25 miles south of Providence and only minutes from the ocean and Narragansett Bay. Other cultural centers such as Boston and New York are easily accessible. The University is among the nation's top 100 research universities and has an enrollment of approximately 13,000 undergraduate and 3,000 graduate students. The Department of Music currently has 12 full and 18 part time faculty and offers B.M., B.A., and M.M. degree programs. It is fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music.
