Job Summary The Department of Social Sciences at Albany State University is seeking applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Mass Communications. This position will start in August 2023. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and advisement, service to the university, and scholarship. Responsibilities include teaching both introductory and advanced level courses, in face-to-face and online environments. Tenure-track faculty will teach 30 credit hours on an annual ten-month contract with benefits, and will conduct academic research, perform other duties such as committee work and student advisement.ResponsibilitiesSalary range is from $45,000 to $55,000
