Job Title:Assistant Professor - Practice

Department:Dentistry | Periodontology

Candidates must have a DDS/DMD or equivalent degree and completion of a CODA-accredited advanced education program in periodontics. They also must be eligible for a regular or limited teaching license by the Ohio State Dental Board. Information on state dental licensure is available at
www.dental.ohio.gov/licensinginfo.stm. Board certification or board eligibility by the American Board of Periodontology is also required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in dental education and an MS, PhD, EdD, or other advanced degree.

The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a desire to create an environment that promotes collegiality and collaboration among members of various education, research, service, and cultural communities. A willingness to serve as a role model and advocate for the ideals of professionalism and high ethical standards in a health science educational setting is essential.
