Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Provide service delivery as delegated by senior staff
  • Resolve customer service problems that are basic and routine and solved byapplication of procedures or guidance, or referred on to others for resolution
  • Build relationships with employer/group clients (not individual members) and assist senior staff in the delivery of day-to-day service delivery
  • Assist senior staff with implementing client systems, completing projects, and addressing ongoing service needs
  • Escalate client concerns when appropriate
  • Inputs data into appropriate software for vendors/carriers/clients withinrequired timeframe
  • Coordinate employee communications for enrollment
  • Assist senior staff with the participation of new client set-up, renewals, and open enrollment meetings
  • Establish and preserve a solid business rapport with clients and vendors
  • Ensure that all internal controls and procedures are followed
  • Generate client interest in additional lines of coverage
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Less than 3 years customer service experience in the insurance industry required
  • Must maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant tofield of expertise
  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels oforganization, both internally and externally
  • Effective customer service skills
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Ability to work inteam environment as well as independently
  • Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
