General Summary:

The Associate, Business Systems Analyst - Digital Experience will be responsible for supporting the vision, strategy, and roadmap for one or more digital products/platforms, in support of the HCA enterprise digital roadmap. This role will support the Digital Experience team in producing digital thought leadership utilizing benchmarks, external research, and vendor relationships, to various internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to internal HCA depts., OEM digital teams, and HQ global matrix partners. Primary focus will be on incubating emerging technologies to enhance HCA's digital products and platforms, owning end-to-end product development life cycle from ideation to implementation. Primary collaboration with key business and IT partners and vendors to manage creation of new services, solutions, or products, from ideation, design sprints, prototype building, and testing. This role will be heavily relied on agile frameworks, detailed analysis & design, production troubleshooting support and requirements gathering and testing in preparation for product deployment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Requirements Elicitation & Analysis - facilitation of stakeholder meetings to understand new feature needs, detailed requirements, and priorities.

2. User Story / Use Case Creation - translating stakeholder needs into story boards that define feature scope, feature behaviors and outline acceptance criteria.

3. Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and priority.

4. Work with product owner to break the annual roadmap into product sprints the team will use to deliver products and features.

5. Assists with production support, cataloging issues and working with technical team to analyze and communicate resolution.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understands the strategic perspective and can deliver results based on company vision, goals, and objectives.

• Has experience with agile methodologies including participating in daily scrums, retrospectives, demos, and sprints.

• Expertise in Agile Requirements gathering - Journey maps, personas, user stories, acceptance criteria etc.

• Experience with Web & Mobile Applications, consumer behavior and emerging trends

• Understands ITIL Service Management (Incident/Change/Problem).

• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to influence corporate direction working closely with senior management and excellent oral/written skills.

• Working knowledge of software development lifecycle (AGILE, Waterfall, SDLC).

• Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.

• Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.

• Comfortable making decisions supporting change and recommending new approaches to the way we do business.

• Working knowledge of IT architecture, systems, connectivity, and related concepts.

• Ability to effectively handle multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously with close attention to detail & process.

• Adapts easily to changing situations & demonstrates flexibility in juggling priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of total work experience, with a minimum of 2 years as a Business Systems Analyst.

• Graduate in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent.

Physical Requirements and Working Condition:

Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an office environment.
