General Summary:

This position is responsible for supporting the forecasting, reporting, and analysis needs around the performance of Hyundai Motor Finance (HMF) subvention programs in order to maximize sales efficiency and meet other company objectives. The team member should be able to work effectively with other functional areas, assisting the Product Development Sales Operations and OEM teams to continuously improve products, programs, pricing and incentives. The position requires solid analytical and superior data management skills. The team member should have experience with financial forecasting models and should be proficient in SQL and/or SAS.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Program Performance Reporting and Forecasting

• Provide HMF and Genesis Finance (GMF) Penetration forecasts and Financial impact of Subvention programs (Cost per Unit,

• overall cost, etc.) to both HCA and HMA accurately and timely

• Provide weekly reporting on origination and application activity to HCA and Hyundai Motor America (HMA) management

• Serve as the point of contact for any penetration and cost per unit questions

• Identify areas of opportunity to enhance product and pricing capabilities & competitiveness

• Validate monthly OEM billing

2. Support generation, maintenance and enhancement of Pricing for Subvention Programs for both Hyundai and Genesis brands:

• Support in costing all HMA/GMA subvention programs

• Create and maintain HMA/GMA website disclosures for

• HMA/GMA Marketing teams

• Create and maintain OEM Regional Offers and publish to OEM after Program approval

• Support Sales Operations team with program launch activities, including validation of bulletins/pricing files

3. Complete ad-hoc analyses, assignments and reporting as requested by management and/or executives

4. Perform all other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong analytical and execution skills complemented by problem solving skills

• Ability to extract, analyze and draw insight from data in enterprise databases

• Solid written communication skills, Must be able to communicate complex terms and concepts to management both visually (PowerPoint) and in writing

• Exceptional attention to detail and quality

• Strong orientation toward results coupled with reputation for integrity, creativity and good judgment

• Must have the ability to challenge, when appropriate, existing practices

• Experience with financial calculation and analytical frameworks to compare financial products and pricing

• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with extended work hours

Qualifications

• 3+ years preferably with an auto finance, mortgage, credit card or banking organization.

• Auto industry experience a plus

• Bachelor's degree required. BA/BS Marketing / Sales Management / Business/Statistics (or equivalent work

• experience to substitute for education)

Physical Requirements and Working Condition:

Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an office environment. During month end sales closes, position may require alternative working hours to support sales close and launch.
