Position Pay Range:

This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to geographical location and experience.
$75,525.00-$120,840.00

Summary:
This job is an extension of the Product Manager role focusing on the tactical aspects of the ACP Product Management with a focus on supporting CSG's management solutions that fall under the Vantage Product Suite. The Associate Product Manager will be responsible for performing various duties in support of the Product Management Function for the ACP product management team with a focus on data, reporting, and analytics.

Position Details:

Essential Job Functions:

Responsible for guiding defined Features through the Feature intake process and through post-release activities.

  • Ensure stakeholders are properly maintaining Jira records and updating tasks throughout the SDLC.
  • Routinely meet with development to review release planning statuses and to ensure features are being worked in priority order.

Support service optimization efforts.
  • Standardize Statement of Work (SOW) templates and amendments for ACP offerings.
  • Prepare effective materials instrumental in the SDLC planning and governance process (i.e. Jira reports, Excel documents, PowerPoint Presentations).
  • Provide PI status detail, Feature status, and R&D capacity models.
  • Manage execution of Epics as well as new product build activities through the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) build-out process.

Performs subject matter expert duties for supported products, including acting as a resource for answering questions, explaining functionality, and assisting others in building product knowledge.
  • Support SBU, PSG, and Services teams, as needed, with informational product overview sessions, as well as presenting new features through the SDLC.
  • Support the Quarterly Product Management Release Showcase initiatives by collaborating with the Product Management team to produce effective presentations to promote value-adding features to internal and external clients.

Conducts market research and applies expertise to support product vision and strategic direction in the execution of the product roadmap.
  • Understand the P&L around supported products and leverage information to influence project requirements and direction.
  • Assist Product Managers in delivery of the product roadmaps

Minimum Requirements:

A minimum of 3 Years' experience in the telecommunications, software development, transaction/payment processing industries, and/or business intelligence industry.

Preferred Skills:

  • MBA highly desired.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • End-user, application level Advanced Convergent Platform (ACP) knowledge with a high degree of technical aptitude is desired.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform work associated with data reporting, data replication, business intelligence and analytics. Advanced knowledge of SQL strongly preferred.
  • Excellent presentation, creative thinking, as well as written and oral communication skills. Must demonstrate effective collaboration skills.
  • Ability to negotiate Feature prioritization and ensure product designs satisfactorily meet business requirements.
  • Strong critical reasoning skills with the ability to identify challenges and rationalize solutions.
  • Must have a logical, structured, and inquisitive nature that enables the ability to identify product enhancement opportunities as well as tell a story that links to business strategy and objectives that is based on data analysis.
  • Must be familiar with techniques for requirements engineering and have the ability to develop deep product knowledge for CSG's products such as SDLC, PLM, Safe/Lean, and Agile Concepts.
  • Must be self-driven with the ability to manage multiple active projects in a given time period with accountability for deliverables that may span across multiple organizations.
  • General knowledge of long-range and operational planning techniques.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
