Position Summary

This Morrisville, NC-based position resides within the Teleflex Anesthesia business unit's Marketing team. This role will hold responsibility for products in the Emergency Medicine (EM) portfolio. In collaboration with the Senior Product Manager, this role will create, execute and manage full-stream marketing efforts for the EM business. The Associate Product Manager will lead the product launch and marketing efforts for various New Product Development projects and actively partner with sales leadership and representatives to ensure the execution and implementation of the marketing strategies for the EM portfolio.

Principal Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day management of the assigned Emergency Medicine product lines.
• Provide sales support such as sales materials, customer presentations, information for Request for Proposals (RFPs) and customer communications.
• In collaboration with manager, develop and implement tactical plans to increase penetration and drive sales of existing products and drive portfolio management.
• Develop content for core products and new product introductions including market development, training, education and sales/marketing collateral (publications, brochures, electronic media and marketing communication/education content).
• Communicate effectively with Business Unit Leadership, Project teams, Marketing Leadership, Sales, and Sales Leadership members
• Collaborate with Demand Planning, Manufacturing, and Distribution to maintain high service levels.
• Lead product gating process for assigned portfolio and guide commercial regions through launch.
• Maintain and develop relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and leverage relationship with KOLs for regional voice of customer (VOC) and new idea generation.
• Provide input to the Global Marketing team for product development and pipeline.
• Provide support to Regulatory Affairs team on local product registrations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by immediate manager.
• Adhere to and ensure the adherence of Teleflex Code of Ethics, all Company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards.

Education / Experience Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required with areas of preference including marketing, biomedical engineering, business administration or other similar degree area. A minimum of two to three years of post-degree work experience in the field is expected.
• Health science baccalaureates could also be considered (registered nurses, for example) with experience in operating room, emergency department, or other areas of the hospital routinely exposed to patient care requiring airway management. In cases where health science baccalaureates are considered, clearly demonstrated skills in marketing areas such as strategic thinking, influence, analytical skills and project management must be evident.
• Comfort level in medical environment, with demonstrated aptitude or prior experience with clinical terminology.
