This position will be based in New York, NY.

What you will be doing:

The Associate Sales Manager serves as a primary business contact for our second tier Key Accounts, channel reps, and partners for all assigned Accounts. This multifaceted and highly qualified sales professional will effectively drive and maintain the relationship between key retailer partners, Sales Reps and internal cross-functional teams to deliver best in market, channel and category service to our customers. This individual will uncover new opportunities within the marketplace as well as grow existing business as it relates to their channel.


  • Drive top line sales within your account base - Mass Market & Gourmet Grocery

  • Maintain or improve overall OXO customer profitability

  • Build or identify new, positive return on investment OXO business opportunities within the marketplace

  • Drive successful distribution of new products

  • Identify new opportunities for OXO adding incremental top line and bottom line profitability and/or opening strategic channels

  • Build or identify promotional activity support to earn incremental sales/profits providing positive ROI as well as and post-promotion analysis

  • Provide ongoing key customer insights to Supply and Demand planning teams to support effective operational account management to meet customer expectations and strategic supplier supply chain performance objectives.

  • Grow relationship with key contacts throughout account base

  • Continue to be the eyes, ears and voice of OXO with key accounts and rep partners, developing partnership and driving OXO business initiatives

  • Demonstrate brand stewardship across all materials working closely with the digital marketing, brand, and creative teams to ensure that all efforts are on brand and on strategy

  • Work with channel partners to develop and implement seasonal marketing calendars to marry sales initiatives across all retail platforms

  • Conduct regular audits of retail partner sites and store planograms for product placement and potential opportunity

  • Analyze POS metrics using available analytics to develop recommendations and provide insights to improve conversion rates and drive revenue growth

  • Be the Eyes, Ears and Voice of OXO's Customer internally at OXO to help team's understand needs, opportunities and challenges while focusing on making the best choices overall for OXO respecting our internal team's capacity and resources

  • Works well with other OXO disciplines/teams: partnership & respect for all

  • Look for leadership moments to drive positive change to benefit organization

  • Internal cross-functional collaboration with different departments


Skills needed to be successful in this role:

  • Understanding of margin, P&L, and business topics needed

  • Ability to successfully communicate with all internal and external partners on matters of account sales Strategy and execution

  • Effective communication with cross functional teams


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 3+ years of sales experience

  • Proficient with MS office

  • Demonstrated high level of Key account support & management experience

  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
