Summary: Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Hourly Supervisor has overall responsibility of assisting in the management and supervision of manufacturing personnel.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Directly supervise manufacturing employees and works closely with the manufacturing lead positions and department supervisors to coordinate the execution of manufacturing schedules.
  • Actively assist and work in the production floor producing materials, as well as systematically gathers information, sorts through complex problems, seeks input from others and responds appropriately.
  • Participate in QC, HR program objectives, and is the leader for safety and emergency response.
  • Carry out supervisory and management responsibilities in accordance with organization's policies and applicable laws and actively participates in annual performance and salary reviews.
  • Conduct responsibilities include interviewing, recommend hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; disciplining employees; addressing complaints; and resolving problems.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Requires a minimum of one year in a lead position or equivalent experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills required.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
