VCA Almaden Valley Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our 4 doctor small animal & exotics practice in San Jose, California.

The successful candidate will be an experienced veterinarian or confident new grad looking to provide excellent patient care and client service in a fast-paced clinic. We offer an extensive mentoring program for those interested.

Our well-equipped, spacious facility is warm and welcoming. To provide excellent care we are equipped with in-house labs (including chemistries, and a variety of SNAP tests), ultrasound, digital radiography, and oxygen cage. Digital dental radiographs are offered for every patient undergoing dental prophylaxis, and VCA's CareClub provides a cost-effective solution to developing a strong preventative care relationship. Our well-trained and compassionate staff, as well as the VCA management team, are here to support you in providing the very best options for your clients.

Full-time, open 7 days/week, no on-call hours, schedule includes 4 days/week, 10 hour days, rotating weekend days.

We are located in the charming neighborhood of Almaden, minutes from the thriving heart of Silicon Valley and San Jose. We are a short drive to many wonderful regional parks and downtown San Francisco. San Jose is just a few hours from the rugged California coastline, Napa wine country, and the Sierra Nevada Mountains. A world-renown 24 hour emergency and specialty center is located just across town.

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $100k to $150k. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
