VCA Sequoia Valley Animal Hospital located in Santa Rosa, California, is looking for a veterinarian who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive, tenured team.

Sign-on/Retention Bonus up to $50k with a two-year+ commitment for doctors with 2+ years of experience!

VCA Sequoia Valley Animal Hospital is a busy, 3 doctor General Practice in Santa Rosa, California. We treat dogs, cats and exotics and have been serving the community for 30 years. We have a special interest in reproductive medicine as well, which makes us unique among other hospitals in the area. Exotics interest is not a requirement, and we will teach the reproductive medicine.

VCA Sequoia Valley Animal Hospital has an excellent, positive culture and working environment. We are also very well equipped with ultrasound (new Logic 6 and the knowledge to go with it) and digital radiography, in house lab, digital dental radiography and up-to-date dental equipment, extensive anesthetic monitoring equipment and protocols, double surgery suite and, of course, our amazing support staff - including 4 highly experienced RVTs!

Because we are well-established in the community, we have a stable but also growing client base with some great clients. Our practice style is highly collaborative between our doctors (as well as with our staff) for the benefit of both doctor support and for continuity of care for our patients. We have set doctor rounds every week. Our practice strives to provide the highest degree of medicine. We have the opportunity to do so from within, as well as with the support of the VCA family. VCA Sequoia Valley Animal Hospital is looking for a full-time or part-time position. We are open Monday through Friday from 8-6 pm and Saturdays from 9-4 pm. We are closed on Sundays. Schedule includes 4 days/week (Mon-Fri) with rotating Saturdays for full-time position. For part-time position, schedule includes 2 -3 days/week (Mon-Friday) with rotating Saturdays.

Just 55 miles north of San Francisco, Santa Rosa is located in the urban heart of wine country. It is the largest city in California's North Coast. Its thriving downtown boasts three distinct shopping districts, five historic residential neighborhoods, arts and culture, events, great restaurants, famous chefs, wine tasting rooms, brew pubs, and a comfortable inviting atmosphere. Santa Rosa has 24 schools, including nine elementary schools, five middle schools, five high schools, and one continuation high school. Santa Rosa sits at the northwestern gateway to the Sonoma and Napa Valleys of California's famed Wine Country. Many wineries and vineyards are nearby, as well as the Russian River, the Sonoma Coast along the Pacific Ocean, Jack London State Historic Park, and the redwood trees of Armstrong Redwoods State Reserve. Santa Rosa is also surrounded by a variety of other wonderful destinations such as Petaluma, Rohnert Park, Windsor, and smaller cities as Sonoma, Healdsburg, Sebastopol.
