The Associate Wealth Advisor is responsible for helping with sales and service initiatives in the Wealth department. In this role the Associate Wealth Advisor will work towards gaining familiarity and eventually proficiency in all required systems and processes, relationship management, business development, and financial planning with the goal of becoming a Wealth Advisor. The Associate Wealth Advisor will focus on growing professionally while supporting the business needs of the department. They will help to free capacity for more Senior Wealth Advisors so they can focus on increasing sales revenues and providing outstanding client service.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Assists with managing non-complex client relationships including selection of asset allocation strategies and basic financial plans
  • Maximizes client satisfaction to ensure retention of clients; aids more Senior Wealth Advisors in expanding relationships by assisting with sales and service efforts
  • May work with Retail/Commercial business partners on less complicated sales opportunities where appropriate
  • Complete certain client requested actions as directed by supervisor
  • Assists in the completion of various tasks within the appropriate Wealth operating systems (e.g. AddVantage, Investor's View) as instructed by supervisor
  • Other tasks as directed by supervisor
  • May be asked to assist on department projects as needed
  • Completion of CFP program within 2 years

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed to Perform Essential Functions of the Job
  • 0-3 years of experience in professional environment
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other general operation systems

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

    Level of Complexity and Scope
    • Experience in banking or financial services preferred

    Degree of Independence and Decision-Making
    • May require some supervision in order to complete tasks

    • None

    Physical Requirements
    • Occasionally lifts and carriers up to 10 lbs
    • Occasionally stands and drives
    • Frequently sits and walks

    Compliance Statement
