Pieper Automation is expanding and looking for its next Automation Service Engineer to provide service and support to its customers onsite and remotely throughout the southeast. If you enjoy being the hero in the automation space, solving complex problems through PLC programming, plant networking, VFD parameterization, and you are looking to grow your career, then we want to talk to you! This position will report to the Department Manager and requires a decisive leader able to work independently and collaboratively with a passion for hands-on work and a strong drive for various size troubleshooting and programming projects.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Interacting with Designers, Design Engineers, and Lead Engineers.
• Create Functional Specifications.
• Execute project reviews, construction support and field verification.
• Solve field electrical controls' issues using a multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.
• Create and solve PLC Programming tasks- Rockwell, Siemens, Beckhoff, etc.
• Operator Interface Programming.
• Process Control - design/build to specification/Design Basis.
• System Control - design/build to specification/Design Basis.
