BI/Data Scientist-SupervisoryBCforward is currently seeking highly motivated Tableau Developer or Power BIin Irving, TX We place consultants for end clients all over USA. Title: Tableau Developer or Power BILocation: Irving, TX (Hybrid) Anticipated Duration: 6+ Months (possible RTH or extensions) Manager Notes:Looking for a strong Tableau Developer who can build dashboards in a large enterprise environment. Work will be 90% development.SCREEN FOR for experience creating complex dashboards that have multiple tabs and several pods/cuts. If they do not have that experience DO NOT submit.NOT looking for a Tableau administrator.Big Data is a plus.SQL skills are required. Job Description The Sr Tableau Report Developer to manage the lifecycle of Tableau analytics dashboards, including business requirements gathering, functional specification write-ups, prototyping, development, quality testing, user acceptance testing, roll-out and post-launch enhancements implementation. The developer will create powerful dashboards, datasource, create action filters, parameters and calculations for preparing dashboards and worksheets in Tableau. This role will also design and implement processes and standards to aid in report development and support. Key Responsibilities:* Developing, maintaining, and managing advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions.* Hands on with Tableau Desktop (dashboard creation, report authoring and troubleshooting, data source management).* Performing and documenting data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design.* Fine tuned SQL Queries for maximum efficiency and performance.* Reviewing and improving existing systems and collaborating with teams to integrate new systems.* Conducting unit tests and developing database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues.* Creating visualizations for the data extracted with the help of Tableau* Managing Tableau Server and Administration on Linux Server including Tableau server upgrade/installation.* Finding the key areas of automation to make the business processes smooth Qualifications:* 10+ years of experience in enterprise BI development* 7 years of hand on experience with Tableau* Experience in relational databases Oracle, Sybase, MongoDB experience in managing unstructured data* Experience in managing and implementing successful projects* Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods* Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements* Strong Analytical and communication skills* Desired Skills / Good to have * Analytics using BigData is a plus* Knowledge and hands-on experience with TabPy and Data Management Addon is Plus.* Experience in working within an Agile development methodology is a plus Thanks & Regards Zahed ALiIT RecruiterEmail id: Mobile No:
