Job Details:

This position starts at $21.65/hr. with a shift increase for second and third shift and potential for overtime. We have open positions for first shift.

This facility operates five days a week and produces Sausage Patties, Sausage Links and Roll Sausage.

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Set up equipment in preparation for startup, and responsible for the operation the blenders, while also adhering to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Load blender with proper meat.
• Chill meat to proper temperature.
• Blend re-work back into meat.
• Pull fat sample for quality assurance.
• Pull fat seasoning and setup grinders and blenders.

REQUIREMENTS:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent.
• Monitor production area for trash and debris on floor.
• All employees are responsible for upholding the principals of SQF 2000.
• Must be willing and able to work cycles in less than 20 seconds.
• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.
• Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours.
• Familiar with the safe operation of production line conveyor equipment.

Must have 3 months previous work experience with a single employer within the last 18 months. This facility does not accept rehire.
