We are currently searching for a Brand Manager within our Marketing Communications Department. The addition of this role to the company is a result of both the company's and the department's year-over year success and growth, and we're looking for a talented, passionate candidate to continue our trajectory. 

The Brand Manager launches and manages campaign work, collaborates with departmental peers, and ensures all brand needs are met. Understanding market trends and translating these insights into actionable plans to marketing our brand in new and creative ways. They must have a strong balance of strategic thinking, creative aptitude, project management and people skills.


Responsibilities/Principal Duties:

  • Improve brand recognition and reputation, as well as brand building
  • Analyze brand positioning, customer insights, market trends and competitors' activities
  • Shape and communicate our brand vision and mission
  • Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies
  • Monitor market trends, research customer markets and competitors’ activities
  • Contribute to creative development to ensure adherence to brand standards, mission, and goals while motivating the target audience to “take action”
  • Improve the brand's reach to new customers, strengthen the brand’s connection to existing customers – building brand loyalty
  • Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices and tactics
  • Collaborate with Marketing Communications Manager and Marketing team
  • Report brand performance and assess against goals for ROI and KPIs, to develop ways to improve brand recognition
  • Build a following for brand on social media with the social team
  • Consistently brainstorm and collaborate with marketing team for new ideas and strategies to move the brand forward.


Qualified candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications:

  • A high energy individual with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
  • Familiar with keyword placement and SEO.
  • Excellent grammar, writing, proofreading, and editing skills. Knowledge of AP style a bonus.
  • Ability to generate content that inspires action, teaches, and entertains.
  • Ability to translate complex/technical product features to capture multiple target audiences – installers, commercial door dealers, and architects.
  • Experience with social and email marketing.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand technical writing, but the creativity to translate that into content that general audiences can understand and appreciate.
  • Self-motivator with strong organizational and intra-personal skills, and a great collaborator.
  • Able to analyze complex problems, develop creative solutions and make sound, independent decisions and plans.

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field
  • Proven working experience as Brand Manager or Associate Brand Manager
  • Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to executives
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind
  • Data-driven thinking and decision-making
  • Outstanding communications skills
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Experience with email marketing software required, Marketo preferred
