Description:
As a Business Analyst within the IT Department for the Judge Group, this candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements from different individuals within the company and creating documentation to assist with the flow of requests that come from various departments within the company. This documentation will be vital to the IT department as it will help provide clear direction from the department in which the request originates as well assist the IT Department bring the aforementioned requests to completion. This candidate must be able to competently complete business analysis of current practices as well as identify required and/or requested future changes and clearly differentiate between the two.
This candidate will specifically provide support to the ERP Project Manager and ERP Director for the purposes of moving along the various ERP and back office system projects involving financial systems. This candidate will help support the team by categorizing and prioritizing requests within the Judge Group's ERP realm. This position is crucial to the overall success of the ERP Team and IT Department as a whole.
This candidate will interface frequently with technical resources on the ERP and Application Development team as well as members of the business in Finance, HR, Compliance, Marketing, and C-Suite leadership to obtain and document requests (however big or small) in an easy to understand fashion. This role will assist in the organization of the massive body of work and sometimes-unforgivable federal, state, and local requirements that are a part of the ERP team and back office systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
This candidate's primary focus will be to properly capture requests and gather specific requirements from the business through formal documentation in the form of Scopes Of Work, BA plan documentation, BA deliverables documentation, etc. as deemed necessary by IT Management to assist in the proper delegation of project-based tasks by the Project Manager and IT Management. This candidate will work closely with the Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, HR, Compliance and IT departments. This is a permanent role and a requirement for getting the various business groups at Judge to a place where the systems can scale at the pace of the business to ensure the systems are growing in step with the business and growing compliance requirements.
The successful candidate will work hand in hand with the ERP Project Manager to ultimately serve as a liaison between C-level, Operations, HR, and Finance staff at Judge and the technical teams in place. The main responsibilities will be to gather requirements and create the proper documentation to ensure a smooth handling of requests and transition those requests to completion. This candidate should be up to the task of meeting challenges head on that are rewarding and ultimately provide the opportunity to have a positive impact on current processes for the business as a whole.
