Job Purpose

The Business Analyst is primarily responsible for administering the customer incentive program (CIP) for ASC North America, a portfolio of upfront investments of $100mln+ with hundreds of customers. The position requires frequent interaction with customers and internal sales personnel, so excellent communication and organizational skills are a must. The successful candidate will also identify opportunities to reduce inefficiencies by standardizing and automating processes.

Preferred location Nashville, TN or Troy, MI.

Key Accountabilities

  • Prepare CIP Requests for Mgt Approvals & follow up
  • Follow up with BU on CIP questions and approvals
  • Follow up with RSL with suggestions to CIP requests - advise giving
  • Prepare CIP Payment Requests to Infosys
  • Prepare CIP Asset Set Up Requests to Infosys
  • Prepare CIP Asset Retirements to Infosys
  • Prepare Unearned CIP Statements to Field
  • Prepare Letters Requesting CIP Customer Purchases and following up on receiving the information
  • Prepare CIP Quarterly Report
  • Prepare Month-End CIP Clearing Reconciliation & JE
  • Prepare CIP Packages for Filing/Storage
  • Updating Octagon once the CIP is paid & capitalized
  • Adding new Users to Octagon
  • Investigate Late CIP Payments to Customers
  • Prepare & Send Default Letters to Customers
  • Work with Collection Agency on Defaulted Customers
  • Work with Legal on Defaulted Customers
  • Submit CIP Default payments to Bank and work with Infosys to properly allocate payment to correct accounts
  • Prepare Subordination Agreements for Mgt Approval
  • Submit UCC filings for New/Old CIPs
  • Follow up on UCC Reports and changes to CIPs
  • Submit Credit Checks on CIP Customers
  • Submit PERSONAL Credit Checks on CIP Customers
  • Assist with analyzing Customer credit reports
  • Other tasks as instructed

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree required (economics, finance, etc.)
Must be able to read and understand sales contracts
Paralegal degree a plus
Advanced Excel skills required ( including knowledge of vlookup and pivot tables)
Ability to effectively communicate and cooperate with all departments within the organization
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Experience with SAP is a plus
Intermediate to advanced knowledge using MS Access and SharePoint are preferred
