Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Business Technology (NBT) is seeking a highly skilled team member with an accounting background. The Business Process Finance Team Lead works with the NBT team and other partners to align, optimize, and deliver a superior ERP and MES system to Nucor's steel making divisions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Designing, testing, training, and delivering a highly effective ERP/MES Solution utilizing Oracle Financials
• Facilitating discussions between division teammates and partners to develop aligned business processes for finance across all divisions
• Documenting comprehensive business requirements, such as process flows, business rules, interface design, data analysis and data mapping in collaboration with divisional SME's (Subject Matter Experts) and IT stakeholders
• Working closely with Team Lead, teammates, and process owners to meet project deliverables and to manage milestones, issues, and risks
• Training divisional teammates on Oracle Financial modules and Nucor's month end close process

This is a fulltime position with the Nucor Business Technology team based in Irving, TX. Relocation to the Dallas area is preferred (but not required). Project-related overnight travel as needed, up to 50%.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or 4 years of equivalent industry experience)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with ERP/MES systems
• Familiar with Month End Close procedures
• Proficient with business process areas, such as Accounting, General Ledger, Cost Accounting/Inventory

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Oracle Financials
• General understanding of project management principles
• 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment
• Familiar with Subledger Accounting practices
• Familiar with Sales and Use Tax
• Audit experience
